While there are plenty of options when it comes to hearing live music in Delaware, one of the most popular hot spots seems to be Dewey Beach. Here visitors can catch the Delaware Music Festival and the Dewey Beach Americana Music Fest among other concerts and live performances. Best of all, most of the area's events are free.

Delaware's location along the Atlantic coastline lends itself to having an abundance of prime seafood as part of the local fare. Blue crab is especially popular, used to make crab cakes, sandwiches, soups, and salads, and is served whole, either steamed or fried. Other popular dishes from the sea include oysters, shrimps, scallops, and a variety of fish.
